How to Scan to Apple iCloud

ScanSnap scanners make it easy to scan to various cloud services for quick access to your scanned data across your devices. Did you know you can set up ScanSnap to scan to iCloud drive? iCloud allows you to securely store scanned data and keep it updated across all of your Apple devices.


Here’s a quick guide on setting up your ScanSnap Scanner to scan to iCloud.

Step 1: Ensure that the ScanSnap Quick Menu is enabled

  • Control+click on the ScanSnap Manager Icon in your dock and click [Settings…]
  • Select Quick Menu. (Quick menu will have a check mark next to it when it is enabled).


Step 2: Begin Scanning

  • Load your documents in the scanner
  • Press the scan button
  • After all your documents have been scanned the Quick Menu will appear
  • Choose Scan to Folder and the Scan to Folder dialog will appear


Step 3: Save your document to iCloud Drive

  • From the Scan to Folder dialog click [Browse…]


  • From the finder, click [iCloud Drive] on the right
  • Click [Choose]


  • Rename your document and click [Save]


Now that you have scanned your document to iCloud, you can quickly access your scans from just about anywhere.
