ScanSnap Cloud. This partnership makes it easy for SecureDocs users to quickly move hard
copy signature documents, and others documents of importance, into SecureDocs utilizing a
Fujitsu ScanSnap Scanner.
How does it work?
The ScanSnap Cloud, a simple, set-it-and-forget-it app, allows you to connect your iX500 or
iX100 scanner to your SecureDocs Virtual Data Room account. It’s a one-time setup process
that allows you to scan your paper documents directly into your virtual data room. Simply press
a button on your scanner and your document moves straight into your data room where it can
be found in a predetermined folder.
Connecting your ScanSnap Scanner to your SecureDocs data room can be done quickly by
following these simple steps:
1. Log in to the ScanSnap Cloud via the browser on your computer or through the mobile
ScanSnap Cloud Application.
2. Select ‘SecureDocs Virtual Data Room’ from the list of connected providers.
3. The ScanSnap Cloud will send you directly to the SecureDocs login page, where you will
be prompted to use your pre-established credentials to securely log in to your account.
4. Once the login is complete you will be redirected back the ScanSnap Cloud to complete
After you have established the connection between your ScanSnap Scanner and your
SecureDocs Virtual Data Room moving your paper business documents into SecureDocs only
takes a few seconds.
To get started scan your document using your iX500 or iX100 ScanSnap Scanner to the
ScanSnap Cloud, or scan through the mobile app using your smartphone camera. The
information is then moved to the ScanSnap Cloud where it sorts your scans by document type
and applies OCR and smart naming to your documents. (The document name can be changed
again once in SecureDocs.) Then, utilizing the authorization framework established during the
initial set up process, your document is automatically delivered to your SecureDocs Virtual Data
Room for you to store and share in a secure fashion.
