The recently introduced ScanSnap Cloud feature for the ScanSnap iX500 and iX100 scanners is now even more productive! ScanSnap Cloud and Box have teamed up to provide individuals, teams and businesses the ability to scan critical information directly to their Box accounts without the need for a computer or mobile device. ScanSnap Cloud works behind the scenes to automatically optimize the scanned image, classify and sort scans into documents, receipts, business cards and photos, and then deliver them exactly where they need to be. Users simply select Box as their preferred destination on the ScanSnap Cloud app, and scans are sent to Box’s secure content management and collaboration platform with a push of the Scan button.
Built for the modern, dynamic business, Box enables teams to store, manage and share files that can be accessed anytime, anywhere.
“Our open, extensible API enables Box to become the content layer in any application,” said Jamie Perlman, vice president of business development at Box. “Through our latest integration with ScanSnap, we’re extending Box’s content management capabilities to our joint customers, allowing them to securely access their most important content anywhere.”
“ScanSnap continuously looks to provide value and support for our customers to help them achieve their organization goals,” said SVP of Product Management, Scott Francis. “We are excited to collaborate with Box and integrate with their innovative content management platform, united with the objective of finding new ways to improve how individuals and business work.”
This integration enables users to:
• Quickly digitize critical documents, receipts, business cards and photos
• Share files securely
• Synchronize and access files from a desktop, tablet or mobile device
• Collaborate remotely
Collaborating on digitized documents is easier than ever when you use ScanSnap Cloud to send content into your chosen folder in Box.
